Fire Prevention
The measures necessary to control situations of potential fire hazards in any company should not be underestimated and must be respected to ensure non-occurrence of these incidents.
Avoid smoking: It is a habit that harms their health. And if you do have on hand a good ashtray or perform in the areas assigned for this purpose. The trash baskets are the worst places or substitutes for the ashtrays, which must be placed well inside the cigars to keep the consumption-could fall out. Do not get on furniture or equipment. Do not neglect or abandon anywhere. Before emptying ashtrays, make sure cigarettes are completely extinguished mind and preferably cold, otherwise they can be initiators of an incipient fire. Do not smoke in dangerous places and observe the warnings non smoker.
Storage of materials: Do not store things on your desktop, archivists or furniture that may pose a fire hazard, either alone or in the amount of them. Use suitable containers and place them on the shelves for this purpose.
Acetone, paints and varnishes: Even if it is for the nails, do not keep them in their workplace, since they represent a significant risk of fire.
Cleaning of furniture and equipment: Do not clean with solvents, alcohols, acetone or other solvents, try using soap and water, a clean cloth or sponge.
Carbon paper: When you discard fold inwards so that the side that is printed inside, do not throw the ball or just to the dump. This also prevents it stains hands and clothes, a potential fire, as the coal particles are burned very easily.
Contacts and outlets: Do not overload and if necessary ask for any additional installation.
Multicontacts: Do not overload, just locate the aircraft according to their number of entries. Make sure they have some approval for fire prevention, fuse, electrical use and not considered just a low price.
Electrical equipment: If you notice any spark, smoke or electrical shock, unplug it immediately and report your fault to the maintenance area. Do not wait for them to be a source of ignition.
Electric cables or extensions: Replace any cable that is not in safe operation, as cuts on the floor or carpet. Use only approved extensions for this purpose. Make piped installations and report any conditions that might produce an ignition.
